The story begins in December 1996, with the DISTIN brothers who decided to breathe new life into the '' Christmas carols of yesteryear''. Until 2002, the date of the official announcement of the band called: ID OR (organized ideas), the group's structure has undergone many changes with the contribution of complementary musicians. The final configuration of the band consists of a very dynamic female voice section, backed by a powerful rhythm machine based on percussion instruments. Serge Distin is the chairman and the bandleader.

Based in Capesterre (Guadeloupe), ID OR has gradually established itself as one of the major pillars of the “Caribbean Christmas Carol ''.
