ERISTAJ DANICAN After more than 30 years in the group "la Flamme Abymienne", Jacques Danican, recognized as one of the best accordionists in Guadeloupe, created his own music and dance association ERISTAJ DANICAN in August 2018. The proven objective is to perpetuate the heritage received from his father Erisson DANICAN: the quadrille and the accordion.

Recognized as guardian of the Intangible Cultural Heritage of Guadeloupe, Jacques Danican has made the preservation of music and traditional quadrille dance his hobbyhorse. Self-taught, he began to learn the accordion at the age of 7 following his father and at 11 he began with (small percussion) then at 19 began the accordion in the orchestra.

Jacques DANICAN is a very prolific composer (quadrille, biguine, waltz) and all the quadrilles played during this ball are his works.
